Sales Executive (Showroom & Tele-sales)

About the role

New Priyatama Furniture has been making solid wooden furniture in Howrah since 1981. We are looking for a Sales Executive who enjoys talking to people: someone who handles the enquiries our advertisements bring in, on the phone and on WhatsApp, follows them up, and turns them into happy customers, both over the phone and in our showroom.

What you will do

• Answer sales calls from our advertisements and help callers choose the right furniture
• Reply to customers' WhatsApp messages quickly and professionally
• Explain our products, prices and offers, and convince customers to buy
• Follow up on every lead (calls and WhatsApp) until it becomes an order
• Attend walk-in customers in our showroom and close the deal
• Enter every in-store order and payment in our ERP Software and keep them up to date

What we are looking for

• Fluent Bengali is a must; good Hindi and English
• Good communication and convincing skills
• Polite, confident and patient with customers, on the phone and in person
• Comfortable with a smartphone, WhatsApp and simple computer work (order entry)
