Box Khat Designs with Price
A box khat is the bed most Bengali homes choose: a solid wooden frame with a large storage box underneath for quilts, winter clothes and everything else that needs a place. At New Priyatama Furniture we make every box khat in our own workshop in Andul, Howrah.
The headboard, frame and carving are solid CP Segun (premium teak). The storage box base and panels are Greenply premium plywood, which stays flat across the large panels a storage box needs. We never use MDF or particle board.
Choose from carved designs such as the Love Khaat, Hathi Mayur, Jali and Gadi khaats, or a clean panel design. Every khaat is made to order in standard 5×7, 6×7 or 7×7 sizes, or your own size, with a choice of polish. You can also choose without box, with box storage, drawer storage, or a hydraulic lift that raises the base easily.
We deliver and assemble across Kolkata, Howrah and the surrounding districts. Visit our showroom in Andul-Mouri to see the carving and the storage box in person.
